Dark Velvet Cream

Buckeye Blends Dark Velvet Cream

  • 5 ounces high-quality dark chocolate (at least 70% cocoa)
  • 4 eggs (preferable organics)
  • 5 Tbsp granulated sugar (or to taste)
  • 1 Tbsp Chocolate Balsamic Vinegar
  • 1 pinch of salt


  1. Break the chocolate into small pieces and place it in a microwave-safe bowl.
  2. Microwave for one minute, and then stir.
  3. Microwave again for one minute or until chocolate is fully melted.
  4. Beat egg whites with a hand mixer until stiff pick.
  5. Add the sugar and beat for one minute or until shiny snow forms.
  6. Add the egg yolks, melted chocolate, Chocolate Balsamic Vinegar, and a pinch of salt.
  7. Beat for one to two minutes or until all ingredients are combined well.
  8. Arrange the prepared mixture in jars and store it in the refrigerator for about four hours before serving.
